On Monday the 29th of January, in the presence of the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity, Mr Serge Wilmes, and the Minister for the Economy, SME, Energy and Tourism, Mr Lex Delles, the Boards of Aldermen of the communes of Niederanven and Schuttrange invited business companies from both communes to a reception for the first time. Around 120 people, including businesswomen and -men from 56 different companies, found their way to the Centre de Loisirs “Loisi” to forge new contacts and exchange ideas. The focus was on the presentation of Klima-Agence on measures for the energy transition for companies in the context of the Klimapakt fir Betriber programme, before the evening was rounded off with an interesting networking session among the business people, the members of the Boards of Aldermen and Communal Councils of Niederanven and Schuttrange and the ministers.
The fifth session of the Klimapakt fir Betriber roadshow was organised by Klima-Agence in collaboration with the Guichet unique PME, and Naturpark Our.
The session began with an introduction by Klima-Agence, setting out the objectives and commitments of Klimapakt fir Betriber, followed by a presentation of the programme’s tools by experts from Luxinnovation, House of Sustainability and Klima-Agence.
Three companies then shared their decarbonisation and energy transition projects:
Robbesschéier presented their project “Nachhaltige Robbesscheier”, which includes a global energy monitoring system and aims to reduce their energy dependency.
KELLER minimal windows presented the results of an in-depth study of their CO2 footprint and their transition to using locally recycled aluminium, thereby halving their aluminium-related carbon footprint.
Nexxtlab brought the presentations to a close by unveiling its real-time monitoring and control software for homes and businesses.
The session concluded with exchanges between participants and experts from the Fit4 Sustainability and SME-Packages programmes, strengthening the support network for companies committed to energy transition and decarbonisation.
The fourth session of the Klimapakt fir Betriber roadshow took place in the friendly, aesthetic atmosphere of the Burelbach Landschafts- und Gartendesign showroom. The event was organised by Klima-Agence with support from the local partner Natur- und Geopark Mëllerdall and Luxinnovation GIE
The event began with introductions by Klima-Agence and the municipality of Echternach, followed by a presentation of the Klimapakt fir Betriber tools by experts from Luxinnovation, House of Sustainability and Klima-Agence.
Local companies then shared their practical experiences of decarbonisation and energy transition.
Eurocamping Nommerlayen highlighted its charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, including the construction of an electricity transformer and the use of solar thermal energy and a heat pump to heat its swimming pool.
Mondo del caffe shared its experience of installing its solar power plant, a success despite initial difficulties with the building stability. The company also highlighted its commitment to sustainability in coffee supply chains.
Burelbach Landschafts- und Gartendesign rounded off the presentations with a tour of its new premises, subsidised as a global project by the Ministry of Economy. They also presented their future photovoltaic and e-mobility projects.
Finally, a discussion session gave participants the opportunity to talk directly to experts from the Fit4 Sustainability and SME-Packages programmes.
The third event in the Klimapakt fir Betriber roadshow took place on Tuesday 4 September in Useldange on the premises of Peintures Robin. Organised by Klima-Agence with local support from Réidener Kanton and Luxinnovation GIE, this event was another chance to highlight opportunities for the decarbonation and energy transition projects for Luxembourg companies.
The programme began with an introduction by Klima-Agence and a presentation by the municipality of Useldange, followed by a presentation of the programme instruments by experts from Luxinnovation, House of Sustainability and Klima-Agence.
Several local companies, including Peintures Robin, Naturbaustoff Réiden and EnergiePark Réiden, shared their experiences of decarbonization and energy transition. Press release from the Ministry of Energy and Spatial Planning / Ministry of the Economy (in french)
